Jungle Temple!
Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting in a while, but I have been busy playing :P I am playing the snapshot 12w27a on sunebrownie’s server. Here are some pictures of the Jungle Temple:

Hello! A new Minecraft snapshot is released, which has many new features.
The new blocks are:
To the left: Emerald Block
To in the middle: Tripwire Hook
To the right (hard to see): String wire

A little list of new features (from Mojang.com):
- Trading with villagers has been updated
- Enchantment system has been rebalanced
- A new Redstone-activating block
- Better Creative inventory
- Pausing should work in single-player now
- Some minor terrain changes
- Added an “adventure” game mode (/gamemode 2), but requires more work
- A lot of smaller changes and fixes
A new Generated Structure in this snapshot is the Jungle Temple:
Emerald Blocks may be the Next!
Just some minutes ago, @jeb released a teaser image showing Emerald Blocks. It may or may not be in the next update and/or snapshot, since he just tweeted that many complains over and over again about that the Emerald Ore is too rare.

I turned the blacksmith in a village into a nice house :P (I’m using GeruDokuRPG texture pack for 12w21b, which I will use mostly in the future too)

I used Chiseled Stone Brick, Moss Stone, Jungle Wood and Jungle Planks (and Stone Brick Slabs) to make the house itself :P
12w21b (Fix for some bugs in 12w21a)
Just wanted to say :P The code for diamond/emerald is fixed, and a bug that made it hard to play singleplayer was fixed. Here is what it says on mojang.com:
“We rarely do snapshot updates to fix bugs, but since 21a contained an annoying bug that made it hard to play single-player we decided to do one this week. There are still problems, but we’re getting there!
We added a new creative mode inventory screen, please let us know what you think (target @Dinnerbone or @EvilSeph)! We also updated the language files to correct the diamond/emerald mix-up in the language files (diamonds were previously called emerald in the code, which caused a lot of confusion when we added a real emerald item). We had to ban another translator for griefing… it’s astonishing how much work some people put into these things… :)”
New Structure: Pyramid! (Since Snapshot 12w21a)
A new structure found in snapshot 12w21a is Pyramids. It is a Desert-only structure, just as the Desert Wells.

A new snapshot is out! :D Here’s a list of new stuff & changes:
- Villagers will trade items (they are cheap bastards, though!)
- Added a “currency item”
- A few minor terrain changes
- A new useful block/item (requires obsidian)
- Added a /seed command for showing the map seed
- Added sandstone stairs
- A lot of smaller changes and fixes

Cocoa Plants!
Those orange things on the tree is a new block called Cocoa Plants. They spawn naturally on jungle trees, and give you cocoa beans when broken. They have 3 levels of growth: First they are yellow and tiny, giving 1 cocoa bean when broken. Then they grow bright orange and still drops only 1 cocoa bean when broken. At last they grow orange and drop 3 cocoa beans when destroyed.
In addition, the Cocoa Beans have a new texture. Since 12w19a, the texture have changed to this:
You can write books! But you have to wait for the next update, or you can download the latest snapshot at Mojang’s website. To the left is a item called Book and Quill. This item is what you use when writing the book. The item to the right is the Written Book, which is what you get when you have signed and titled your Book.
